1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BeGlocal's website translation service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

BeGlocal provides AI-powered website translation services that allow users to make their websites multilingual through JavaScript integration. Our Service includes:

  • Automatic content translation using AI technology
  • Language detection and switching functionality
  • Customizable language switcher widgets
  • Analytics and usage tracking
  • Dashboard for managing translations and settings

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Translate illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Spam, abuse, or overload our systems
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our technology
  • Resell or redistribute our Service without permission

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

BeGlocal offers various subscription plans with different usage limits:

  • Free Plan: 10,000 characters/month, 1 website, 5 languages
  • Starter Plan: $29/month, 100,000 characters, 3 websites, 20 languages
  • Pro Plan: $99/month, 500,000 characters, 10 websites, all languages
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing for unlimited usage

Billing is processed monthly in advance. Unused characters do not roll over. You can cancel anytime.

6. Intellectual Property

BeGlocal retains ownership of the Service, including all software, algorithms, and improvements. You retain ownership of your original content, but grant us license to process and translate it as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your content to provide translation services and may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our Service.

8. Service Availability

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or suspend the Service temporarily. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. We do not guarantee:

  • Perfect translation accuracy (AI translations may contain errors)
  • Compatibility with all websites or technologies
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Security against all possible threats

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BeGlocal harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Japan.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
